Starting with the release of v2.6.11, distribution bundles are cryptographically signed. The public key for verifying the signature is available from the MHonArc homepage.
A daily snapshot release of the latest sources in CVS is provided, but it may be unstable. Snapshots are provided if you want to test out latest features and/or fixes before an official release. Snapshot releases are named "MHonArcYYYY-MM-DD-snap.ext".
A snapshot release is bundled just like a normal release so normal installation procedures apply.
NOTE: The reported version of an installed snapshot release (e.g. the output of invoking "mhonarc -v") is invalid since no real version has been assigned. The version reported will normally equal the latest official release.
If you use a snapshot release, any problem reports should be sent only to the mhonarc-dev@mhonarc.org mailing list.
